Technisat hdfs hack

All the radio stations have disappeared from the EPG. I did a channels search and it found tv and 0 radio. Is it just my box or are other people having the same problem? That sounds like a call to Technisat there's no reason for any SD recordings to be encrypted by the box.

On any other Freesat box they are a bog standard mpeg2 transport stream file viewable and burnable to DVD by lossless conversion to mpeg2 programme stream format. Perhaps that's reason all recordings are encrypted. Why there are dozens of free to air pvr ready sat boxes that record SD to external usb devices and HD as well without encryption.

At the very least the technisat should be able to record as a generic free to air box in whatever mode it's called Humax call it non-freesat mode. Freesat SD transmissions don't have the encryption flag set. In any case you could replay a SD recording and record it direct to a dvdr so what's the point in encrypting it in the first place. Erwin 1 Standard Member. I only use Technisat mode. My box has allways switched on and recorded from standby.

I have never had any problems with my HDFS. I dont like all the restrictions on Freesat mode, so I only ever use the Technisat mode. The Technisat mode gives me far more channels. I then use Mediaport software on my computer to convert the recordings to DVD. Please help It would help me and technisat support to know if anyone else has experienced this technisat mode recording failure from standby.

Please post if this has happened to you. It may not be encryption as such just the fact that you have to format the USB drive before you can record on it. It's a shame that there's no connectivity to the "outside" world to smuggle in EPG data from places such as Radio Times. Pedantic Standard Member. Technisat HDFS er ganske brugervenlig i dagligt brug. Det med fine klare ikoner omkring undertekst med mere. PVR betjeningen sker her med farveknapperne.

Jeg fandt boksen billigst hos Amazon. De kunne levere den til lidt under kr. Velfungerende og brugervenlig boks til det engelske Freesat udbud Gode redigeringsmuligheder af optagelser.

Forgot your password? Mistet din adgangskode? We also like the TechniSat's scaler-bypass feature: like the Humax, you can set it to output video in its native form. The HDFS is a fine receiver. If the Humax is out of reach for you, we reckon this is clearly the next best alternative. See all our satellite TV box reviews. Follow whathifi. What Hi-Fi? In Freesat mode you get an additional customisable option where you can swap in regional variations. The Freesat EPG is structured in a similar way to that on competitors' boxes but as with the software in general Technisat has eschewed black in favour of a slightly dull, mainly grey Windows-esque colour scheme, though we do like the help pages.

LNB input VCR Scart composite, S-video EPG data is displayed as a grid of eight-day data where available for nine channels at once and you can view data for all channels or just those of a certain type e. This can be skipped day by day using the number keys on the remote or in two-hour chunks. You can view a full list of data for one channel, a now-and-next list for all channels, generate a grid of programmes for all by genre, or search for shows using an onscreen keyboard.

Non-Freesat channels also get a grid of channels from which you can view data for one channel, view shows by genre or perform a search. The programme information banner is attractive, displaying plenty of useful data.

In Freesat mode you can browse data and synopses for what's on other channels for the rest of the day without needing to switch over.
