Absolute converter

Absolute Converter is a potentially unwanted program that displays pop-up ads and unwanted advertisements on web pages that you visit. These Absolute Converter advertisements will be shown as boxes containing coupons, as underlined keywords in-text ads , pop-up ads or advertising banners.

I'm trying to uninstall AbsoluteConverter from my laptop but every time I try to do so, it comes up with 'do you want to allow this app to make changes to your device? I don't, of course. But is this just a trick to put me off unstalling it?
